Baking Bread with CBD
Baking with CBD is, all about baking at or under 300°F. With temperatures much over that and the CBD sublimates or evaporates.
Many CBD baking recipes use oil infused with CBD and this works well. To bake without oil, we use water soluble or water miscible CBD. With many good oil based recipes out there, we take a look at baking with water soluble nano CBD. The simplest recipe, and the one I love, needs only the following ingredients. Flour – 2 cups. (I use 1 one cup of all purpose bleached and 1 cup of whole wheat)
Sugar – 3 to 4 table spoons (needed for yeast to process and make bubble in the bread)
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Yeast – 2 -3 teaspoons
Water soluble CBD – 200 mg nano CBD (the smaller the CBD the larger the multiplier effect.)
Water -1 1/2 cup adjusted as needed
That’s it! That’s all the ingredients.

First, mix all the flour and sugar in a bowl.
Next warm water to 80-100°F.
Place ½ cup in a glass then add yeast and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
Then add the water with the yeast into dry ingredients while mixing (kneading). It will be clumpy.
Once that is mixed as well as possible add the remaining water a few tablespoons at a time while mixing until the mis is “stretchy” and remains in a ball and hardly sticks to the sides of the mixing bowl.
If you added too much water and it becomes soft and sticks to the side of the mixing bowl, then add flour a little at a time until it becomes more like a single ball.
Then cover and keep in a warm place for 30-45 minutes. It should have risen.
Mix or knead it again for about 5 minutes, then pour it into a baking pan that has been dusted with flour. Let stand for another 45 minutes or more allowing the mix to rise again.
Finally place it in the oven at 300°F for 45 minutes. Then take it out and let cool for 20 or more minutes before cutting.
